Natural Kids and Babies ...

I can't wait to have a little girl so I can play with her hair!! I often wonder what my hair would look like NOW if I had never had a perm. I'm sure the length would be CRAZY!!!!!! One thing is for sure, kids today definitely have more options for their hair than I did growing up. Not only that, natural hair is very "fashionable" for black children now. LOL. I hope this trend lasts! There are so many natural products to care for their hair, so hopefully more kids will realize they can STAY natural.

Love this post!
I wish I had kept my daughters hair natural. Because I didn't know how to properly take care of natural hair back then, I put a relaxer in her hair at 6. She's 13 now and I've had her transitioning over the past year and a half. Initially, she wasn't happy about it. Even though she gets is blowed dried/flat ironed straight, she still wanted another relaxer. She finally got the last of the chemicals cut off a couple of months ago. Has a cute long bob w/bangs. She loves it. To my surprise she actually decided to wear it curly last week and fell in love w/her natural texture.
I'm so happy! =)
