Okay, I don't like the Miss Jessie's Curly Buttercreme either. It made my hair hard and dry. Definitely will not be adding this to my regimen. It sucks!! LOL Have you guys had the same results? Maybe I used it wrong??!! Would love your feedback. I'm going to buy my Curly Meringue tomorrow!!

I don't like MJ's buttercreme or curly pudding. They never worked for me. I stick to the Meringue and the Stretch Silkening Creme for wash-n-go's. I always use a leave-in under it. Either MOP leave-in or Oyin's Honey Hemp condish. I just seal w/an oil.

Hope this helps.

Hey Robs! Awwww..sorry it didn't work out. I didn't like it on my hair either..it looked okay for first part of the day, then dry and hard the second half. :-(..what works for me is the Tressame, a finger full of JessiCurl and sealed with Aloe butter. No Frizz, no hard and no build up.

Oh I like the buttercreme but not the baby buttercreme. It gives my hair a lot of shine and keeps it frizz free when i twist my hair wet. While visitng NY I actually visted the salon and they gave me a great cut. VERY pricey tho. First curly cut I have really liked but hard to say if justified. I learned how to use their products and it made a world of difference...I wasn't keeping my hair wet enuf when using the Curly Pudding..

How much did you use? I put the curly pudding on then the buttercreme or cantu to seal in the cuticle. If I don't my hair will be frizzy. I don't use more than a dollup of each. I did mine last night and it is soft and springy. I would try a smaller amount, then if it doesn't work, oh well you tried :( It has gone up and is very expensive. If I could find something to give my twists a little hold and prevent the frizziness I would be glad to switch to something else!

@ Caramel Naps.... I was saturating each twist and then sealing the ends. (or so I thought!) LOL

@ Tina.... I'm soo glad I didn't waste all my money on all this stuff. I still haven't tried the Curly Pudding. I like the results I get from the Curly Meringue, so I will stick to that for a while.

@ Choc. Orchid.... what leave-in do you use??

@ Curly Bean... I've heard other people say they like the Buttercreme too, so maybe I need to try that again.
